Forklift moving a pallet of boxed product through a warehouse
From a checked plant to your dock. We never sit in the middle.

Signal over noise

Checked plants sort first. Sponsored cards are labelled grey and never outrank a checked plant. Self-declared percentages are labelled as self-declared.

One request, several plants

Send a request for quote from any profile. With Buyer Pro, send one request to up to 10 plants at once and keep shared shortlists across your team.

A record you can cite

Every mark links to a public record page that says what was reviewed, at what threshold, and when. Attach it to your sourcing file.

Buyer Pro, coming later

Bulk requests for quote, saved searches, new-plant alerts and team shortlists for $199 a month per organization. Email hello@checkedcanadian.ca to hear when it opens.

A note for public-sector buyers

The federal Buy Canadian Policy defines a Canadian good by CUSMA rules of origin and relies on supplier attestations. Our check applies the Competition Bureau’s consumer-labelling thresholds, which are a different test. Use our record as supporting evidence of a supplier’s Canadian production, not as a substitute for the attestation your procurement rules require.

Questions

Do I need an account?
Not to search or read. A free account is needed to send a request for quote, so plants know who is asking.
Does Checked Canadian handle payment?
Never. Terms, invoices and payment are between you and the plant.
What does checked mean?
A reviewer confirmed the plant's cost documents for one product line are consistent with the 51% or 98% threshold, within the last 12 months. It is not a supply-chain audit.
