Answer
How does the Checked Canadian directory work?
The [directory](/directory) lists Canadian manufacturers by category and province. Each listing shows a self-declared Canadian-content figure or, where the manufacturer has paid for a check, a dated review of one product line against the Competition Bureau's thresholds. Listing pricing is not finalized; see [pricing](/pricing).

Reading a listing
A listing's status is one of: checked (dated, product-line-specific review), self-declared (the manufacturer's own stated percentage), or not stated. See how checks work for what a check does and does not cover.
Filtering the directory
Use category and province filters on the directory to shortlist manufacturers before contacting them directly.
